Football Recap: Jaylin Henderson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Shelby over North Muskegon + How To Watch

Shelby made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Muskegon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Tigers fell just short of the Norsemen by a score of 33-30 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Norsemen are ranked 149th).

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylin Henderson, who rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 101 receiving yards. Isaac Garcia was another key player, rushing for 56 yards and one score.

Shelby's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Muskegon, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
