Softball Recap: Sussex Central Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sussex Central's offense. They came up short against the Windsor Dukes on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sussex Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Windsor, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sussex Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Surry County at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Windsor will face off against rival Greensville County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
