Superior had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Proctor on Monday. The Spartans blew past the Rails 5-1. Considering Superior have won five contests by more than three goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Proctor with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Peyton Franta (2), Evan Strauch, Aiden Pagnucci, and Spencer Kidd.

Superior's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Proctor, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
