Baseball Recap: Woodrow Wilson Takes a Loss

Woodrow Wilson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against South Charleston, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Flying Eagles fell just short of the Black Eagles by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Flying Eagles have suffered against the Black Eagles since April 12, 2016.

Woodrow Wilson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Parker Williams, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Woodrow Wilson is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-12. As for South Charleston, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-15.

As of now, neither Woodrow Wilson nor the Black Eagles have any future games scheduled.
