Justice is a perfect 3-0 against Mount Vernon since August of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Justice and six for Mount Vernon.

On Tuesday, Justice came up short against Hayfield and fell 3-1. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hawks 25-20 in the first set.

Justice came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 27-25, 25-23, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Mount Vernon also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 24-26, 25-12.

Mount Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Justice, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything went Justice's way against Mount Vernon when the teams last played back in September, as Justice made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
