Football Recap: Everman Bulldogs vs. Grapevine Mustangs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stephenville, Everman was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 29-17 win over the Grapevine Mustangs.
Carl Carter had an outrageously good game as he picked up 171 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Everman also got a significant boost from Neiman Page, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.
Everman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Grapevine, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
Everman will square off against The Colony at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grapevine, they will head out to square off against Seguin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seguin will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Grapevine surely won't give up without a fight.
