Basketball Recap: Phoenix Takes a Loss

Phoenix was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 65-50 bruising from the Trinity Lutheran Saints.

Phoenix's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Trinity Lutheran, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Phoenix will be playing at home against Cottage Grove at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Trinity Lutheran, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Western Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 11, 2025.
