Caleb Smith Game Report: @ Haywood

Fayette Ware came out on top against Haywood on Wednesday thanks in part to Caleb Smith's efforts. Smith got on base in five of his six plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base. The performance marked the most runs he has had since back in April of 2024.

Smith's strong effort led Fayette Ware over Haywood and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
