Blue Earth had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-7 to make it 11. They lost  17-5 to the Redwood Valley Cardinals. On the bright side, the five- run  performance marked the Buccaneers' highest-scoring  game to date.
  Kailey Boettcher made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases and one  run. That  run was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Jessi James, who  went 2-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
As for Redwood Valley, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs over those games.
 On Redwood Valley's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Ava Meier, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double.
 Coming up, Blue Earth will welcome Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Redwood Valley, they will head out to  face off against Luverne  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
