Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Potosi Trojans, falling 8-0. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Potosi, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Central and Potosi will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Rebels see the field they'll take on Principia at 4:30 p.m. on the 11th. As for Potosi, their break will end when they face Arcadia Valley at 4:30 p.m. on the 12th.
