Football Game Preview: Van Nuys Wolves vs. Marquez Gladiators

Van Nuys is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Banning as they made off with a 36-15 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Marquez beat Granada Hills Charter 17-12 on Friday.

Van Nuys better focus on containing Angelo Gutierrez-Molina and Marcus Juan as the pair were huge in Marquez's win. Gutierrez-Molina threw for 167 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 passes, while Juan picked up 80 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 167 passing yards gave Gutierrez-Molina a new career-high.

Marquez's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Van Nuys, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
