There's no place like home for Ambridge, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They walked away with  a   42-32  win over the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions  on Friday. The Bridgers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Greensburg Salem's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brody Chismar, who threw for 259 yards and three  touchdowns, and also rushed for 77 yards. 82 of  Chismar's passing yards were hauled in by Maxim Topper, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
Ambridge's first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Greensburg Salem,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ambridge will host West Allegheny  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The  game will  give the Bridgers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Greensburg Salem, they will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Elizabeth Forward  at 7:00  p.m. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 13.6  points per game  this season, so the Golden Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them.
