Soccer Recap: Bellingham Comes Up Short

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Holliston Panthers. While losing is never fun, Bellingham can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 226th, while Holliston are ranked 61st).

Bellingham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Holliston, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2-1.

Coming up, Bellingham will welcome Westwood at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Holliston, they will square off against Framingham at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Framingham's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
