Volleyball Recap: Centennial Victorious

Centennial posted their closest victory since September 11, 2024 on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Wesley Chapel Wildcats 2-1.

Centennial's offense was headlined by Ava Waldrop and Ava Overstreet, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Zoey Armstrong and her ten assists.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Wesley Chapel, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centennial will head out to challenge Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wesley Chapel, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sunlake at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
