Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richmond). They took down the Anderson Indians 38-21 on Friday. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Richmond got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jai Allen out in front who rushed for 99 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, and also threw for 28 yards and one touchdown. Another pass catcher making a difference was Ja'Riyah Delucio, who picked up 197 receiving yards and one score.

Richmond didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Thomas Stargell and Zachariyah Washington.

The victory made it two in a row for Richmond and bumps their season record up to 3-5. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 Anderson and 1-6 Marion. As for Anderson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
