Basketball Recap: Fork Union Military Academy Comes Up Short

They were beaten by the Charlottesville Black Knights 83-44. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Black Knights are ranked 158th).

Fork Union Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Charlottesville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Fork Union Military Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 104-41 defeat against St. Anne's-Belfield on the 31st. As for Charlottesville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 69-47 victory against Louisa County on the 31st.
