Dynamic duo of Trent Decrane and Caleb Wright lead Sheridan to victory

Recap: Sheridan Blackhawks vs. Southmont Mounties

Winning is just a little bit easier when you work as a team to rack up 14 more assists than your opponent, a fact the Sheridan Blackhawks proved on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Southmont with a sharp 65-45 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Sheridan.

Sheridan was led to victory by Trent Decrane and Caleb Wright. Decrane scored 14 points along with seven assists, while Wright scored 15 points. Carson Wright was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.

Despite the loss, Southmont still got an impressive performance from Hayden Hess, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Vince Reimondo, who scored ten points.

Sheridan has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Southmont, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheridan will take on Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Carroll has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 196 points over their last three games. As for Southmont, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Putnam at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Southmont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Wednesday.
