Basketball Recap: Redington Triumphs

Redington proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by 32) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 win over the Kotzebue Huskies. This was payback for Redington, who suffered a 62-35 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Redington now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Kotzebue, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Nikiski the next time they take the court. Kotzebue will head out to face Nikiski at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while Redington will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
