Football Game Preview: East Carter vs. Boyd County

After two weeks on the road, Boyd County is heading back home. On Friday they take on East Carter at 7:30 PM. Boyd County come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

There's no need to mince words: Boyd County lost to Rowan County last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-41. Boyd County were down by 0-28 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for East Carter, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Ashland Blazer, falling 0-49.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the win. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
