Baseball Recap: Serena Huskers vs. Seneca Fighting Irish
Serena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell victim to a tough 9-3 defeat at the hands of the Seneca Fighting Irish. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Serena of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Carson Baker put in work while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Baker was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base.
