Baseball Recap: Dimmitt Takes a Loss

Dimmitt lost against Idalou back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Dimmitt came up short against Idalou, falling 19-3. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dimmitt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadrian Herrera, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Uriel Prieto was another, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Dimmitt's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Idalou, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dimmitt is set to face off against their familiar foe Muleshoe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Idalou will take on rival Shallowater at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
