Marshall won the last time they faced Tuscola and things went their way on Monday too. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Marshall took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14.

Harper Richardson paced Marshall's offense, picking up 12 kills. Richardson got some help from Addy Ross and her 15 assists. Finally, Lilly Ross kept Marshall's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Tuscola lost, don't look at Reese Davis. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three aces.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Tuscola, their loss dropped their record down to 9-17.

Coming up, Marshall will be playing at home against Lawrenceville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tuscola, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg on the 21st.
