After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vista PEAK Prep, KIPP Denver Collegiate was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets 3-2. This was a revenge game for the White Tigers: when they faced off against the Hornets on October 7th, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Despite the loss, DSST: Conservatory Green still got an impressive performance from Leah Torres, who had 48 digs and three assists.

KIPP Denver Collegiate is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.
