Football Recap: P.K. Yonge Blue Wave vs. Crescent City Raiders
P.K. Yonge was the 56-7 winner over Crescent City when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The P.K. Yonge Blue Wave received a blow on Friday as they fell 28-14 to the Crescent City Raiders.
Crescent City got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jamar Walker out in front who rushed for 122 yards on only 13 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of LJ Keenon, who threw for 171 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
P.K. Yonge's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
P.K. Yonge will venture away from home to face off against Young Kids In Motion at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crescent City, they will welcome Interlachen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran up and down the field in their prior games.
