Basketball Recap: Cassville Takes a Loss

Cassville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 63-53 to the Ithaca Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-53 last Monday.

Cassville's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Ithaca, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Cassville nor Ithaca have any future games scheduled.
