While Huntington North didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Mississinewa Indians by a score of  5-2  on Tuesday. The  victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Caiden Pohler looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time he's  pitched this season.
 On the hitting side,  Cruz Kindler was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.  Brayden Freiburger was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  run.
Huntington North's record is now 7-4. As for Mississinewa, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
 Huntington North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  9-6  win against Manchester on the 24th. As for Mississinewa, they will challenge Elwood at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5  runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
