Baseball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

The Clayton Bulldogs came up short against the Arkoma Mustangs on Thursday and fell 4-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvin Palmer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Clayton now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Arkoma, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Clayton will square off against Kinta at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a five-game losing streak. Arkoma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
