The National Trail Blazers are taking a road trip to face off against the Preble Shawnee Arrows at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. National Trail will be strutting in after a win while Preble Shawnee will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, National Trail narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Carroll 9-8. That's two games straight that the Blazers have won by just one run.

Summer Martin and Morgan House made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Martin tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, House struck out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. Martin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carley Hamm, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
