Basketball Recap: Mason Tameling Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Escalon

Ripon Christian won the last time they faced Escalon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Ripon Christian Knights walked away with a 57-44 win over the Escalon Cougars.

Ripon Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Tameling, who posted 19 points. Amos Cady was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Ripon Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.4 points. As for Escalon, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-8.
