Football Game Preview: Pearce Mustangs vs. Dallas Jesuit Rangers + How To Watch

Pearce hasn't had much luck against Dallas Jesuit recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Pearce has given up an average of 34.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Pearce is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Lake Highlands on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Mustangs took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 49-13. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Wildcats are ranked 137th).

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Dallas Jesuit, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They blew past Irving 52-13 on Thursday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-0.

Pearce's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dallas Jesuit, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Pearce didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Dallas Jesuit in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rangers' Charlie Peters, who rushed for 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 276 yards and two TDs.
