Baseball Recap: Scottsboro Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

After only two runs in their last match, Scottsboro made sure to put some runs up on the board against Cordova on Saturday. The Scottsboro Wildcats walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Cordova Blue Devils. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wildcats' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Scottsboro's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Cordova, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
