Volleyball Recap: Marissa Takes a Loss

Marissa saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians by a score of 2-1.

Marissa started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-21, 15-12.

Marissa's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Carlyle, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Marissa will square off against Zeigler-Royalton at 6:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Carlyle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against North Clay on the 13th.
