Basketball Recap: Lebanon Comes Up Short

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 54-21 loss at the hands of the Carthage Tigers. The contest marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lebanon's loss came despite strong showings from Madison Myers and Ray Guccione. Myers posted six points and nine rebounds, while Guccione earned five points. The dominant performance gave Guccione a new career-high in points.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Carthage, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-12.

Lebanon has already played their next game, a 48-41 loss against Glendale on the 27th. As for Carthage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 36-32 victory against Willard on the 27th.
