Recap: North Shore Mustangs vs. Kingwood Mustangs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Atascocita, the North Shore Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They came out on top against Kingwood by a score of 39-29. For North Shore, this counts as revenge for the 44-33 defeat Kingwood walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Leading North Shore to victory were Terrence ?Tj? Alford and Deandre Jones. ?Tj? Alford scored eight points along with six rebounds, while Jones scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Teddious Mayes, who scored four points along with five rebounds.
North Shore's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-17. As for Kingwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season.
North Shore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 76-54 defeat vs. Beaumont United on the 10th. Kingwood has also already played their next contest, a 62-34 loss against Atascocita on the 10th.
