The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Woodford County considering their one-run performance the matchup before.
Landon Heim made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Heim has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Heim was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
