 Woodford County stacked  a  tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Spencer County Bears as the Woodford County Yellowjackets made off with  a  12-5 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Woodford County considering their one-run performance the  matchup before.
  Landon Heim made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Heim has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Heim was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brayden Burton was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Taylor Penn was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-5.
 Woodford County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 14 of their last 17 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record  this season. As for Spencer County, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 16-3-2.
 Woodford County will take on Madison Central at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Woodford County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9  runs per game  this season. As for Spencer County, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Christian Academy-Louisville at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
