Soccer Recap: Rangeview vs. Smoky Hill
If Rangeview was riding high off their 6-0 takedown of Regis Groff last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangeview Raiders fell 2-0 to the Smoky Hill Buffaloes on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rangeview of the 4-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Rangeview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Smoky Hill, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.
Rangeview will face off against George Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. George Washington knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with flashy goal totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Rangeview likes a good challenge. Smoky Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
