Basketball Recap: Wakefield School Piles Up the Points Against Tandem Friends

Wakefield School came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Tandem Friends Badgers for the full four quarters, racking up a 39-0 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Fighting Owls had established a 31 point advantage.

Wakefield School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joelle Domfeh led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on ten rebounds and nine steals. The dominant performance gave Domfeh a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ceci Turner, who posted 11 points and eight steals.
