Sydnee Norman was a major factor in Alcorn Central's win over Belmont on Thursday. Norman struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
