Football Preview: Georgetown Eagles vs. East View Patriots        
        
		
             The Georgetown Eagles will square off against the East View Patriots at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Georgetown knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully East View likes a good challenge.
 Last Thursday, Georgetown blew past Rouse, posting  a  42-14 win on the road. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matches by 28  points or more  so far this season.
  Jett Walker was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 253 yards while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 108  rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaleb Mcdougle, who threw for 165 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Georgetown was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 329  rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  rushing yard total in four consecutive  games.
 One reason for the win was Georgetown's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was  Tennison Dean with  two.
 Meanwhile, East View entered their  matchup against Cedar Park  on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. East View fell just short of Cedar Park by a score of  31-29. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now lost seven in a row.
 The match pitted two dominant  signal callers against one another in  Ty Blair and  David Cooper. Cooper had a great game and threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns while completing 79.4% of his passes. Meanwhile,  Blair was balling out in the loss, throwing for 232 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 115 yards on only 14 carries.
 Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for East View, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 3-3.
 The upcoming  contest will be a clash of competing strengths. Georgetown has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 240.8 rushing yards a game. Meanwhile, East View has preferred to attack from the air: they average 288.7 passing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail  on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
