Volleyball Game Preview: Juniata Indians vs. Southern Huntingdon County Rockets

After both having extra time off, the Juniata Indians and the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Juniata has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 6.

Last Monday, Juniata came up short against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy and fell 3-1.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Southern Huntingdon County suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to West Branch.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Southern Huntingdon County's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Juniata, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Juniata might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Southern Huntingdon County in their previous meeting last Saturday. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
