Volleyball Recap: Dixie Takes a Loss

Dixie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Hurricane Tigers. The Flyers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Dixie's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hurricane, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dixie is set to challenge their familiar foe Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hurricane will square off against rival Crimson Cliffs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
