 On Thursday, Burbank never let their opponents score. They blew past the Jefferson Mustangs 10-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Burbank considering their two-run performance the  contest before.
  Savanah Salazar and  Jalyn Ortiz did most of the damage at the plate:  Salazar  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Ortiz  went 3-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Abigale Serafin, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Burbank has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-8-1 record  this season. As for Jefferson, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burbank will  take on Alamo Heights at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams will come into the  matchup having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Highlands at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
