Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Raton). They were the clear victors by a 20-10 margin over the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes on Friday. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly ten runs.

The team relied heavily on Brayden Tapia, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Ortega, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The win made it two in a row for Raton and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Mora, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Raton will host West Las Vegas at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mora, they will head out to take on Pecos at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
