Basketball Game Preview: North Hills Indians vs. Pine-Richland Rams

North Hills and Pine-Richland are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The North Hills Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pine-Richland Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Hills knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully Pine-Richland likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, North Hills had to suffer through a 83-55 loss at the hands of Mars. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 447th, while the Fightin' Planets are ranked 191st).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine-Richland). They enjoyed a cozy 71-56 win over Beaver on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

North Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Pine-Richland, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

North Hills took their victory against Pine-Richland when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 70-48. Will North Hills repeat their success, or does Pine-Richland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
