Basketball Recap: Crow Creek Comes Up Short

Crow Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers 89-41. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Tigers are ranked 11th).

Crow Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mobridge-Pollock, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Crow Creek will square off against McLaughlin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will challenge Shiloh Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
