Millwood wins 34-29 on 77-yard kick return and advance to state championship.

Millwood (Oklahoma City) advanced to the Oklahoma Class 2A state championship Friday night after Jaden Nickens ran a kickoff back for a touchdown as time expired to win 34-29 over Kiefer.

Kiefer scored with 12 seconds left to take a 29-28 lead. Nickens, who committed to Oklahoma in August, fielded the ensuing kickoff at the 23-yard line and zoomed to the right side of the field before blazing down the sideline for the win.

The victory sets up a game against Washington in a state title rematch which Millwood lost 17-14.

Nickens is regarded as a four-star, top 100 prospect in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Nickens already has two state championships with the Millwood (Oklahoma City) basketball team. The small forward has basketball offers from Auburn, Oklahoma State and Ole Miss.
