Softball Recap: Phillips Academy Takes a Loss

The Phillips Academy Big Blue didn't have quite enough to beat the St. Paul's Big Red on Wednesday and fell 7-5. The Big Blue have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Phillips Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for St. Paul's, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phillips Academy will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Austin Prep at 2:30 p.m. on the 26th. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.17 runs per game on average), something the Big Blue will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for St. Paul's, they will venture away from home to square off against Choate Rosemary Hall School at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
