It was a good run, but Westosha Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carmel Corsairs.

Westosha Central was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18.

Westosha Central's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Carmel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Westosha Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Living Word Lutheran on the 27th. As for Carmel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Grayslake Central on the 27th.
