Recap: Herndon vs. South Lakes
Herndon was the 3-0 winner over South Lakes when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Herndon Hornets fell just short of the South Lakes Seahawks by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.
Having lost for the first time this season, Herndon fell to 2-1. As for South Lakes, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Herndon will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Edison at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
