Folsom had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Laguna Creek Cardinals on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Jack DeGraff paced Folsom's offense, picking up 13 kills. DeGraff got some help from Neelagreev Chintaluri and his 23 assists. Finally, DeGraff was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
Despite the loss, Laguna Creek still got an impressive performance from Justin Purba, who had 20 digs and two assists. Purba has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last eight times he's played.
Folsom's record is now 30-9. As for Laguna Creek, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 24-5 record.
